Do blondes really have more fun? Just ask Dua Lipa.
The typically-brunette pop-star posed for the February 2021 cover of British Vogue with a blonde pixie cut.
“Kicking off 2021 like the true chameleon that I am!” the 25-year-old “Levitating” singer captioned an Instagram post of the dramatically different ‘do.
“This was such a dream come true and I feel lucky to have worked with some real legends on this one,” she continued, crediting hairstylist Shon Hyungsun Ju with the look.
She paired the style with an equally eye-catching black Giorgio Armani dress with a thigh-high slit.
Unfortunately for the many followers commenting their love for the pixie – including Lucy Hale and fashion design Marc Jacobs – the shorter style appears to have been a wig.
The “Don’t Start Now” singer also posted a photo modeling a different curly pink wig along with a bra top and patterned pants.
The stylish star, who dabbled in modeling before her rise to fame as a singer, hinted to Vogue that she might branch out into fashion design in the future.
“I’d love to do something fun in terms of fashion,” she said. “At the moment, my focus is music, but I want to be able to branch out and do something else. I would love to start a brand at some point, even if I start off really small. I have to take it in baby steps.”
From her steamy Instagram photos to her viral fashion moments, it’s safe to say Dua Lipa already knows a thing or two about trendsetting.
